|Explanation of usage (For Ceramic Ware)
Procedure on how to choose liquid gold for ceramic ware ( Liquid
platinum, Liquid silver and Luster)
- What type of material to be decorated is? (Porcelain,
Earthenware, New Bone, Bone China etc..)
- Choose liquid gold type, Bright or Matt.
- Choose color tone type, Red, Yellow, Blue tone. Or Platinum,
Silver or Other luster colores.
- Is the material after decoration fired with transfer ? Or not?
How to use liquid gold and instructions for firing
- Pour a small quantity of liquid gold into small glass like
KINCHOKU or porcelain containers and apply it to the object with brush straight
or after adding proper quantity of thinning oil.
- After appling liquid gold, let decorated object dry until your
finger does not stick.
- Take air out of the kiln well by making the kiln door open partly until
gass is not produced because liquid gold ( or transfer) produces flaming
gas. ( The firing temperature is around 400-450℃)
- After gas is released from kiln, close the door and raise the
temperature appropriately for each material. After keep the top temperature for
5-10 minutes, turn off.
- The best firing temperature is approx. 800℃ for standard
porcelain or new born and around 730℃ for earthenware and bone china. However
when firing liquid gold with pigment or transfer, set the appropriate
temperature after considering melting point of pigmentr or transfer.

*1 Color tone for liquid gold is shown by Red type=R, Yellow
type=Y, Blue type=G
*2 Deoxidized gold powder type matt gold has to be
burnished after firing. Flake gold powder type became majestic matt color
without burnishing after firing because this type is made by grinding gold leaf.
(It is no problem to be burnished.)
